I was so excited to receive ‘Making Luna Lapin’ and what a lovely little book it is, packed to bursting with clothes to make for Luna and her friends along with sweet little stories to go with more or less every project. It is such a clever and well set out book, with clear instructions and imaginative tales throughout. What child would not enjoy listening to a story about the very same rabbit that has been lovingly made especially for them. I am looking forward to making some of the projects within (some of which I have already made) and will enjoy reading the rabbitty tales to my grandchildren. This is book to treasure!

I am already a devoted Luna fan, even though my Luna is still just so many pieces of uncut felt etc. Roll on the wintery weather so I can just sit and sew!
This book is beautifully set out with clear instructions and photos, just what I need to get e back into crafting after losing the use of my right hand and having to convert to a lefty. It also shows lovely photos of the full range of Luna’s wardrobe and includes such an imaginative and interesting story of Luna’s own journey into fashion illustration in a busy magazine office and becoming a serious home seamstress in her free time. So, who could resist her need for a little help in creating her wardrobe and perhaps branching out to make her a few additional garments?
No excuses – Luna is for me… well, I AM in my second childhood! However, Alfie, Luna’s brother will be made up for my grandson too.
This book is a delight and well worth investing in. Like Laureen, above, I will be treasuring it and reading the story of Luna’s life so far to assorted visiting children.

Thank you so much Jenni – you must be very talented to have converted your sewing skills to the opposite hand. I love the idea that you will be sharing Luna’s stories with your grandchildren. Sarah xx

I found out about this book at the NEC in August and ordered it straight away. It is a superb book. Lovely illustrations and delightful stories about Luna and her brother Alfie.
The patterns for Luna and her clothes are all included at full size and the instructions are detailed and easy to follow.
This is certainly a book to treasure. I can’t wait to show it to my grand daughter, we made Luna together and she will be delighted to pick out some clothes for us to make next time she visits.

What a loved Granny you must be, I am thrilled at the idea of your grand daughter being able to choose Luna some outfits, and then help to make them. Thank you for taking the time to post a review – it is much appreciated xx
