Skills Workshop – Plackets and Facings

Come to our Sewing School and learn how to cope with plackets and facings commonly used in dressmaking.

In this evening SKILLS WORKSHOP the focus will be on necklines.

Key skills will include

Understanding how to sew a sleeve placket

Making a successful front neckline placket

Creating a smooth facing, the use of interfacing and trimming seam allowance

Understitching and topstitching

You will also pick up lots of other sewing tips as well as being able to ask specific questions about pockets

All practise materials provided in the ticket price.
