Levi’s Regalia – Smoking Jacket and Trousers

Levi’s Regalia is suitable for an intermediate stitcher, and is trickier than some of our other projects (hello, tiny gold piping). We recommend that you have experience making clothing (person or Luna-sized) before. This project is designed for machine sewing, but a very patient person could complete it by hand. All the clothes in the Luna Lapin collection (unless stated otherwise) will fit Luna and all her friends. The pattern can be made as the shorter length (pictured) or a more dramatic, longer length.

Included or you will need:
Jacket & Trousers
Instructions, paper pattern, 55cm (21 1/2in) x 72cm (30 1/3in) Textured Jacquard, 40cm (153/4in) x 40cm (153/4in) Lining, 35cm (13 3/4) x 75cm (30 1/3) Velveteen (also used in trousers), 75cm (30 1/3) soft gold narrow piping, 80cm (31 1/2in) x 2.5cm (1in) wide bias binding, 8mm (14L) single gold button, 2 x snap fasteners.

You will also need tonal thread, a sewing machine, an iron, scissors, pins and a fine handsewing needle, and a water-soluble marking pen.
