Summer Sky 100% Cotton Double Gauze

I love double gauze, it’s so soft! if you have never touched it you are missing out its like secret pyjamas! traditionally made in japan this fabric gets its unique look and feel from being made up of two layers of finely woven thin cotton and fastened together with teeny stitches that form a grid, giving it its texture. Soft, light and slightly transparent, it makes wonderful children’s clothes, lightweight summer garments, such as the Metamorphosis Dress, that are loose-fitting and require little handling. We recommend using lightweight cotton thread and a fine needle when working with double gauze.
