These are so beautiful – I found them quite a challenge (but that’s because I haven’t done a lot of dress making and nor am I very patient) but the end results are just so lovely – even mine, with the slightly wonky stitching!
    Definitely worth the effort ūüôā

I made Luna for my daughter who loves cuddly toys even though she is 29. She was so amazed that I had made the rabbit by hand, and the coat and dress on my sewing machine. It did take me a while but as long as you follow the instructions you will be ok. I am just in the process of making another Luna and have just ordered Alfie rabbit. Pigwigen

I have just made these clothes for my vintage teddy bears and I am thrilled with them . The coat looks beautiful and so does the dress. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow and I am keen to try out the clothes kit designed for Alfie the rabbit, although I am planning to put them on my old bears .

I’ve just made this dress and coat in Pistachio for my White Christmas Luna (aka Flora Warren-Burrowes – we thought she had an aristocratic look about her!) They look absolutely gorgeous, especially the dress. I’m going to make another with some dark red corduroy I’ve found at home and the rest of the contrast collar fabric. I was thrilled that the collar fabric has white spots on as well!
My only gripe is that having received a reel of white thread in the White Christmas Luna kit, I thought I might get some green in this kit to match the dress, but you just get the fabric and trimmings – you do need to have matching thread at home!
The service was really fast, I got an email the same afternoon to say my kit had been posted. Brilliant service especially since it was just after Christmas.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, Daisy – we only supply the thread if if the task is hand sewing – but probably worth us adding a ‘You will also need’ paragraph on the web page.
Flora sounds like she is 12th in line to the bunny throne – if you can send us a picture by email that would be great and we can put her on the Pinterest Board. Sarah x

Bought this kit last year at Malvern quilting show. Hoped it would fit my Granddaughters Sasha doll. Have only just finished the coat, and although it taxed my sewing skills, it looks beautiful. Sasha must have longer arms than Lupin, but she seems happy in her new dress and pink coat. Will send some photos of the outfits being worn. Thank you, all very succesful.

Thanks, Dora – for the comment and the photos – its really good to know that our kits fit Sasha – in fact we sold some kits the show this weekend to a lady who had a Sasha doll.

I bought this pattern thinking I will attempt the dress, but the coat I felt would never be able to attempt it as it looked far too ‘professional’ for me ever to be able to complete. How wrong was I, they both look absolutely brilliant and I am so proud of myself, I can’t believe I could achieve such lovely items? . I did struggle a little with the collar and bias binding instructions at first and had to re-read it several times before I worked out what I needed to do, the diagrams were really helpful alongside the written instructions and helped too. I have yet to complete the buttonholes, which I have never done, but I would definitely make both of these again. The pistachio colour looks lovely against my white rabbit which I have named Mabel.

Thanks for your comments Laureen – I can imagine how fresh Mabel looks in white with Pistachio, Sarah x

I am in love with Luna. It has been such an enjoyable project. I bought the kit for my grandchild but now feel that I cannot part with her as she is so beautiful and she loves standing up on my mantle piece in her new coat and pearl necklace.
I am currently making another dress for her, as a girl cannot have enough dresses, and she even wears lace knickers which she loves.

Thank you Jeannot – good to see another love story developing x
