This elegant and easy-to-sew peasant blouse or dress includes full, gathered raglan sleeves with elastic at the wrists, a gentle V-neck notch, and a gathered yoke with shoulder darts for shaping. The dress includes short sleeves, side pockets, and a narrow tie that loops around the waist. You can make the tie as long as you like in order to wrap it multiple times, and you can customise this style to your preference, swapping the sleeve lengths if you prefer. This style is also suitable for embroidery or other embellishment.

Suggested fabrics: This pattern works best with light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like cotton voile, lawn, poplin, chambray, linen, and rayon.

Fabric requirements: 

View A: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 – 3 3/4 yd (2.5 – 3.4 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 2 – 2 1/2 yd (1.8 – 2.3 m).

View B: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 4 yd (3.7 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 3 yd (2.7 m).

Sizing: 0 – 20 (approx. UK 8 – 20). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Lightweight fusible interfacing; 1/2 yd of 3/8″ elastic.
