I 'happened upon' a Luna Lapin pattern book one day and flicked through it and fell in love with this charming felted rabbity hare. I made my 1st Luna and an outfit and was won over. I love the stories that accompany the characters. I wait in anticipation for the next release and am like a small child buzzing with excitement at Christmas opening up the Christmas Surprise. Coolcrafting is a small piece of paradise where dreams come true.

So much choice for Luna and her friends and lots for her human sized friends too! Orders are sent in super fast time - I usually receive my order the very next day. I was instantly intrigued!
I fell in love with Ottoline and had to make her! But I didn’t have any decent felt. I made her clothes first, and some of Luna’s clothes. The patterns are easy to follow. My friends want life size outfits for themselves! I will be making Luna next and can’t wait for the next book! The Jane Austen/Luna outfits are perfection!

I’ve bought the majority of kits online and have even ventured from Essex to The Lakes to visit the shop! Oh my days what a wonderful shop, the home of Luna and all her friends. These are some of my favourites. The creatures and their clothes are so well designed and the fabrics are always perfectly paired. If ever you’re in Kendal pay them a visit, or just visit Kendal just for the CoolCrafting shop 😊

Coolcrafting is a fabulous shop with the best customer service I’ve ever come across. It is home of the fantastic Luna Lapin, the greatest rabbit of all time (sorry Peter). I make a special visit to the Lake District in our caravan every year so that I can visit the shop. I’ve made lots of new friends via the Luna Facebook group, some I’ve never met in person, but Sarah and Grace at Coolcrafting have created an amazing crafting community and spread the joy and welcoming spirit of what I know the Lake District to be.

I love the Luna range
I’ve made one Luna but have the felt to make another, & kits for Wilhemina Mouse & Clementine Cat. I also have both books, really relaxing & mindful to make these lovely animals.
Lovely Little Shop
Lovely little shop with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The quality of fabrics and wools is great. I also shop on line and have always had super quick delivery and excellent quality products. Would highly recommend

Super friendly and welcoming staff, they have such a great range or wool, fabric, haberdashery bits and so much more. I picked up some wool as a souvenir as I was travelling light but definitely would have been eying up some of their fabric if I had the space!
