Each Christmas, a new friend joins Luna Lapin’s world. Sealed tight and with plenty of seasonal magic, our Christmas Surprise is a parcel of joy and anticipation.

This year’s surprise holds a brand-new animal companion for Luna, designed and created with the same care, quality and gentle whimsy that have become the heart of CoolCrafting. We can’t tell you who they are (that would spoil the fun), but we can promise that they are ready to be stitched, loved, and welcomed into your Luna family.

Inside each box you’ll find the full kit to make your Christmas friend: beautifully chosen felt, detailed instructions, and everything you need to bring them to life. For 2025, you can choose between just the animal, and/or their outfit — a double helping of Christmas magic.

The Christmas Surprise is posted in the first half of December and must be kept secret until Christmas Day.

The Rules

  • Please do not open the Surprise until Christmas Day, and do not spoil it for anyone else.

  • Pre-orders open at 12pm, Wednesday 16th October (BST). More stock will follow – Release times are 12pm, 6pm, and 10pm.

  • The website will run a queue system. Phone orders are only possible by prior arrangement; please call us on  01539 724099 if you wish to book a phone call.

  • Please order the Surprise on its own; no non-Christmas Surprise items in the same basket.

  • Maximum of two boxes per order.

  • Selling or swapping the Surprise is not permitted; no refunds will be offered.

  • Surprises will be posted in the first half of December; payment is taken at the time of purchase.

  • Any changes to address or circumstances must be emailed by December 4th. Changes made to your account afterc are not reflected on pre-orders.
