The Isola Blouse and Dress sewing pattern from Liesl + Co. is an elegant but relaxed blouse or dress featuring gathers at the neck, raglan sleeves, princess seams for fit, and a simple keyhole closure at the back. The blouse has a ruffle collar and full-length sleeves with gathers at the wrist, while the dress has front pockets at the princess seams, elbow-length gathered sleeves, and a front waistband with an attached wraparound belt that buttons at the back. This is an easy style to sew and includes cup sizes to help you get a great fit.

Description

Suggested fabrics: This pattern works best with light- to medium-weight woven fabrics with moderate body and drape like cotton voile, lawn, shirting, linen, lightweight crepe, and rayon.

Fabric requirements:

View A: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 – 4 1/2 yd (2.5 – 4.1 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 2 – 2 3/4 yd (1.8 – 2.5 m).

View B: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 3 – 3 3/4 yd (2.7 – 3.4 m) // 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/4 – 3 yd (2.1 – 2.7 m).

Sizing: 0 – 20 with A/B, C and D cups (approx. UK 8 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

To determine cup size, subtract upper bust measurement from full bust measurement. Up to 2″ difference = A/B cup, 3″ = C cup, 4″ = D cup.

Notions: Fusible interfacing; 1 yd of 1/4″ elastic; 1/2″ buttons, one for View A or three for View B.
