Description

Our Make Me Erik kits include easy-to-read instructions with beautiful photography and clear diagrams to demonstrate the sewing steps. We are sure that if you read the instructions carefully, you will be successful in your sewing, but if you have any questions (or just want to show off your work), join Luna Lapin’s Little World, our helpful Facebook community.

Erik is designed to be hand-sewn, but there are parts that you might find easier to sew on the machine. Erik Eriksen is suitable for Intermediate Stitchers. We recommend you are at least 13/14 years old. Though all our Luna-sized outfits are interchangeable, Erik is taller than most of Luna’s friends, so trousers may be cropped! We designed the Svalbardian Outfit for Erik.

Ingredients (either in this kit or you will need) 22.5cm (9in) x 90cm (36in) Snow White felt, the square of black felt for the nose, Liberty for ear lining and footpads (note the print has changed from the picture), 60cm (24in) embroidery thread winding, bobbin of tonal thread, 2 safety eyes, 2 buttons for arm joints, 2 buttons for legs, doll needle, embroidery needle.

You will also need a sewing machine (optional), stuffing, pins, iron, scissors, water-soluble marking pen, and a pencil/knitting needle/chopstick for turning through/stuffing Erik.

. Brought the make me kit, great to have everything you need to make Erik. If you can sew or have basic knowledge of sewing you will be able to make him. Safety eyes make him easier. My favourite one yet. Next his big brother Bramble.
